Why should I watch Misery, a 1990 horror/thriller?
Acting has a huge impact on the quality of a film. That being said, the acting was excellent, and it seems that both of the film's protagonists—especially Kathy—will find it challenging to pull it off. Congratulations to both artists!
In my opinion, there was never a dull moment. The whole time, my stomach was in knots, and I couldn't stop trying to process what I was seeing or predict what would happen next. I was constantly afraid of what Annie would do next when she walked into the room and I just wanted to protect poor Paul. The film was nothing short of terrifying and disturbing from start to finish and I found myself crying repeatedly.
My favorite psychological horror/thriller movie to date. How wonderful it was beyond description. I was feeling unstable for several days. And makes one think about the dangers of being insane and psychotic. There is a possibility of harm to the mind.
